CONTINUING EDUCATION

Earn CE Credits That Actually Make You a Better Clinician!

Are you tired of attending trainings that you feel like are a complete waste of time and you leave not really learning anything?

Continuing education should be more than checking a box! It should leave you feeling more confident in the work you do every day.

I create engaging, evidence-based trainings for social workers, therapists, counselors, nurses, and other helping professionals that combine clinical expertise with practical strategies you can immediately apply in your work.

Whether you're looking for live virtual trainings, conference presentations, or on-demand CE courses, my goal is to make learning meaningful, interactive, and relevant to today's clinical challenges.

The Baymax Brain: Medical Trauma, Hypervigilance, and Parenting After The NICU

I’m excited to be speaking at the Fandom & Feelings Conference, May 13–14, 2027, in Avon, Ohio!

My session uses Baymax from Big Hero 6 to explore what can happen to parents and caregivers after a child experiences a medical crisis or trauma—including hypervigilance, the constant need to protect, and what happens when your nervous system has a hard time realizing the emergency is over.

It’s a fun, relatable way to talk about a very real part of pediatric medical trauma and caregiver mental health.
